Allison W. Davis, BA, PTA completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Health with a concentration in Exercise Science at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2007. She chose to continue her education by obtaining her Associate’s degree from Martin Community College in Williamston, NC, and became a Physical Therapist Assistant. As a native of New Bern, NC she has worked as a PTA since 2010, primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Various continuing education courses have been taken over the years, including certification in the Myokinesthetic system. As a former athlete/coach and having had to endure injuries on her own personal level, she learned at an early age the importance of returning to play and function and how beneficial and influential physical therapy can be. Eager to expand her learning and career, she has joined the team here at Craven PT and Spine and is looking forward to continuing to provide evidence-based care to a variety of patients.
